"Slow/Laggy" game play using Chrome Browser Quick Fix

Updated: Found a fix for google chrome users that has been found to remove the lag issue. See video tutorial below:

A recent Adobe Flash update (version 11.3.31) has caused performance issues in several games, including Tetris Battle.

These performance issues appear to be most noticeable in the current release of Google Chrome.  

This bug was document and is currently being fixed by Google: http://bit.ly/OQCzo6

Until Google Chrome releases its fix, we recommend playing Tetris Battle in another browser.  

Below are alternative browsers we support in Tetris Battle:

This issue will probably be resolved by Chrome very soon (it appears to be fixed in their current beta).  

We recommend returning to Chrome in a week to see if the issue has been resolved.  

NOTE: Some users have found that disabling this Flash plugin will resolve the issue.  (View how its done)

  1. Type "chrome://plugins/" into address bar
  2. Hit details, in the top right corner
  3. Disable Shockwave Flash 11.3 r31

NOTE: We do not recommend downgrading your Chrome browser as it may create vulnerabilities in your system.

NOTE 2: From time to time, the Chrome Browser will perform an automatic update. This will enable Pepper Flash again.  You will need to disable Pepper Flash again when this occurs.

  • Reduced the "Play to Earn" Reward requirement from 7 to 5 games in a row.

Patch Notes for Version 1.27.1 Update - July 26th 2012

Added Features:

  • Added new play bonus system: Play 7 games of Tetris Battle 2P within the same session to win a prize
  • Updated the Daily Bonus feature with new game items and coin rewards.
  • Added a coin reward for every new friend you bring into the game.
  • Added "Click to Activate" above the game item activation zone. 

Changes:

  • Removed the Summer Theme.
  • Decreased the frequency of in-game pop-ups.
  • Removed the Tetris Capsule pop-up.  Tetris Capsule can still be accessed through main menu.  

Bugs Fixed:

  • Players entering the game through a published Facebook feed will now load the game properly.
  • Rewards won from the Tetris Capsule will display properly.
  • Made some improvements to help with user inputs during gameplay; non-responsive key input
  • Player's profile picture on the "VS" screen will be centered.
  • Pop-up up entering the game will no longer display as a blank white screen.
